Hello, I listened to the same interview on Oprah Soul Series. It was interesting because he also discussed what the ego tries to accomplish...

Ego is about saying I am what I have
I am what I do
I am what other people think of me
I am separate from everyone else
I am separate from God

I think that I am missing one other ego way. Let me know if you found it. Thanks for listing the information on Wayne. Together we will all make this world a better place!

I have always loved Wayne Dyer- I think him and John could have some amazing conversations together.

As for pictures...I have a whole wall of black and whites in my house we call the rouges gallery- all family pictures from as far back as the 1930's. I love it. My kids love it too- they love seeing grandpa young and Grandma as a 5 year old and dad with hair...lol.

Wow that's ironic you wrote that! I think you made YOUR comment while I was in the MIDDLE of editing this piece from what I first posted last night. My edit included adding in my side note on #7. I completely feel the same way & resonate with Dyer's suggestion. Felt like it explained why I have always been drawn to pictures ... taking them, putting them in albums, framing them, photo editing them. My office wall is a collage of black & white family photos. It's interesting and cool to hear that others feel the same. Thanks for sharing & have a fabulous weekend!

Thanks for sharing this great information. As an amateur photographer, I'm glad to read #7! I also find it interesting how naturally over the years as my yoga practice has deepened, some of these like 6, 4, and 8, have naturally shifted for me to be more inline with more positive energy. Such an interesting thing to study.
